Disney Day 2: Magic Kingdom

Friday was Magic Kingdom day. Since we stayed in a Disney hotel the night before, we were able to get into the park right when it opened at 9:00. There was supposed to be some kind of character parade but if it happened, we somehow missed it. We wandered around aimlessly for a bit and then jumped on the Winnie the Pooh ride since there wasn't a line. That ride was really, really strange and trippy! Pooh has some truly messed up hallucinations.

We backtracked to Main Street to get breakfast and some much needed coffee at Starbucks and then we were all ready for the day.

Our ride options are somewhat limited since we have a two year old. We all went on It's a Small World and then later checked out Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid. Betty, Robert, Abby and I got into our little clam shell boats and watched the story unfold.

Creepy! It's a good thing this part passes quickly.

Abby was giving Robert a lot of love throughout the morning. Big kisses!

So picturesque, right?

Just a girl and her daddy.

More cuteness.

By promising not to spin the teacup, Betty and I finally coaxed Abby into joining us on the ride. We told her grandma needed her help.

Success!

She was soooo proud of herself afterwards.

We had FastPasses to meet "Punzel" and Cinderella again.

Someone was hot and tired. Actually, all of us were.

But strawberry popsicles make everything better.

She fell asleep in about 2 minutes flat on the way home.

Thanks Stan and Betty for the fun two days at Disney!

  1. HAHA! That pic of her burying her face in Robert's neck is priceless. I feel like that pretty much anytime I'm out in the sun, too. So funny -- what great memories with Stan and Betty!
